Since starting at Karen Renee Interior Design in 2011, Stephanie has focused her talents on residential design and worked on both large and small projects, including many waterfront homes. She brings with her an extensive set of skills and prides herself on creating dynamic, smartly designed living spaces that beautifully reflect their owners’ personalities. Possessing a flair for color and an eye for detail, Stephanie enjoys pulling a design together using architecture, furnishings, fabrics, artwork, and accessories.
From traditional to contemporary, Stephanie has executed a wide range of interiors for clients, while tailoring each design to that individual’s vision and preferences. Her experience in the model home sector has sharpened her ability to maintain flexibility throughout the design process and execute successful designs across a variety of tastes and styles. She’s passionate about the process of developing beautiful, functional spaces based on carefully listening to the client and applying creative and innovative solutions.
Stephanie currently resides with her husband, puggle, and cat in a historic home built in 1911. Renovating their current house and two previous historic residences has provided Stephanie with special insight into and experience with the unique challenges of historic properties. After several years of balancing work with raising kids, volunteering at school, and being involved in sports and dance activities, she now has a daughter attending the University of South Carolina and a son who’s a Terp at University of Maryland. Today, Stephanie is finding ongoing inspiration working in the Severna Park area and developing relationships with her clients to help them create the homes of their dreams.
